The White Wagtail with the black head

lihidinai

These words were written inspired by nature's beautiful wisdom and this painting of mine that was created during my staying in one of the farms in Sweden that I was wwoofing in. Nature always inspires me when I need it and helps me balance my emotions and connect back to my soul.

The White Wagtail with the black head is watching over me.

Yesterday morning, it was standing on a branch and didn't fly anywhere. It wasn't scared of any of my body’s movements, not even when I stood and got off of the bench and was about to leave, while most birds would fly away already.

When I was looking back, it was still present. It was still there.

Watching over me, keeping me safe.

Reminding me that I am not alone, that nature is here, hugging me and taking care of me. It’s here also when things don’t always seem clear, and even when an old infamous shadow comes to visit again. The White Wagtail with the black head is here, looking me in the eyes, reminding me that it’s just a shadow, that I can look right at it, and it just feels like an enemy, but it’s actually an old guardian that came to visit.

I know that it doesn’t take a big part of me anymore, I don’t need this guardian, but I remember to honor it. And I was even able to smile at it for a moment.

The White Wagtail reminds me that the earth has a tremendous ability to absorb everything, and that the pleasant wind has the beautiful ability to transform and move what I need.

Such a small bird with so much presence and force. Not even a peep came out, and this made it stand out even more with her beauty and gentle presence.

The White Wagtail with the black head is watching over me, keeping me safe and reminding me of the world’s magic and wonder.
