Down hill of the Swiss Alps

I think no one can argue about the magic of Switzerland. Wherever you look, it's a potential postcard to capture. And of course - there's an infinite magic in the air of the mountains.

As an Israeli nomad, I admire every time again the green abundant landscapes, and Switzerland definitely has them. There's a unique peace and tranquility in these grounds, something that I am so drawn to, and for sure I didn't want to leave this place at all. I traveled to Switzerland in July with my dad, and I was so grateful I had this opportunity to be exposed to this beauty and magic. We went to the area of Lauterbrunnen and Mürren (and later on to interlaken area), and the minute I was in the cable car to Mürren I was just mesmerized, could this really be happening that this beauty and magic exist? I felt like I am somewhere in between a fairytale and a journey back in time to the middle ages. Before Switzerland I've been to Sweden for a few times, and even though Sweden has a really sweet spot in my heart, and is another home to me, if it wasn't an expensive country to live in, I would definitely want to stay behind and explore more by myself.

I don't recall being in such high mountains in my life, maybe once in Chile, and it was such a beautiful and fascinating experience! The first evening we got to Mürren, it was a bit rainy and cloudy, and in one minute, instead of seeing this beautiful valley underneath, there was a cloud that took over everything and I could barely see 2 meters in front of me, the minute it came, it could also go away and reveal the world around again!

The next day, was definitely one of my favorites. We took a mountain train uphill and went to see more landscapes, and apparently also, some cows and sheep. It is very common in Switzerland that the cows are wearing bells and it sounds so serene, and this is exactly what took me to the middle ages vibes. We were wandering around the place, and heard these beautiful bell sounds, and everything felt very simple and peaceful. It's hard for me to imagine how it is to be a mountain person, because it seems like I would definitely need to be more in shape! So much up and down hills. But it definitely is tempting to fantasize about that! Maybe, someday, I would actually live in these kind of mountains... where you can drink straight from the water streams and waterfalls, and the air is so fresh. Me and my dad were walking for some good hours, and I had to touch with my hands (gently of course) almost every peace of nature - the grass, the plants, flowers, the water, I just had to fill my bottle in every water stream I ran into, just because I felt connected more deeply to mother earth with every physical interaction. In these mountains I felt alive, I felt like my lungs are growing wider and wider and my soul is expanding with the heart. I am full of gratitude with the opportunity to get to know these magical mountains from a close touch.
